That was a great night, especially as it fell on the day of my bday – but one big letdown was the sound system in the main room! Did it die? There was a serious lack of bass for most of the night – felt sorry for the DJs – sick sets non the less!!! Thanks Hospital!!

Anyone know anywhere cheap to stay nearby?
Also – what time is the venue open until?
There’s loads of cheap b&b’s around here, best bet is to tap it up on Google and give them a call. I know there’s a hotel for about £50 called The White Heart Hotel which is about 10 minute walk from the venue, I’m pretty sure that’s a double room and breakfast for 2.
As for the venue, I’m pretty sure the Phoenix has a 3am licence.

Also if you want cheep accommodation try the YMCA hostel. Only 5 or so minutes from the venue and about £15 I think. Or just listen out for house parties and catch the first train home. Exeter is usually pretty good for those.
