The Cheese Truck
Based in Maltby Street Market, London, Matt Carver has shifted over 20,000 tonnes of cheese since the truck’s launch in 2014. Popping up at some of the most prestigious events in London, it’s fair to say The Cheese Truck is melting people’s hearts as well as cheese. Carefully selected from UK farms, the truck perfectly grills a mixture of mouthwatering flavours to compliment the finest cheese in the country. You can try the rosary goat’s cheese, honey, walnut & rosemary butter or those who crave a strong cheese can feast on the cropwell bishop stilton, bacon & pear chutney. But be warned, you may find yourself visiting the Maltby Street Market religiously to get your fix. They’re so cheesy, it’s grate… That wasn’t very mature.
Mama Charlotte, an elderly woman from Mandeville, Jamaica, passed her authentic Caribbean recipe onto her granddaughter. The secret flavours infused into her beautifully crafted dishes have moved from being the talk of Brixton and Camden town to the shouts of satisfied festival goers. At Mama’s Jerk you will experience the exotic and unique Jamaican tastes of Mama Charlotte’s very own tropical mayo, jerk BBQ marmalade and crispy saltfish cakes. Street food at its finest, try Mamas jerk for a real taste of Jamaica.
Chip Chip Hooray
Bringing the highest quality potatoes to slice and dice into the finest fries soaked up with a range of sensational sauces, Chip Chip Hooray is the perfect festival snack. Tuck into some hearty and deliciously salted chips and soak up some of the weekend’s beer.
Spit & Roast
Based in East London, Spit & Roast has been brought to us by Ross and Justin who wanted to share their succulent and delicious poultry with the greater public. The guys fill their meat with divine flavours by marinating it over night in buttermilk and dashing it with a nice dose of unique Korean chilli sauce. Grade A quality meat combined with passion and enthusiasm landed the duo cookers third in the ‘People’s Choice’ section in the British Street Food Awards. To all you meat-lovers out there; this is not one to be missed!
