Hospital crew. Do we have something special in store for you. Live & direct from Highest Point Festival up in Lancaster this May, London Elektricity’s Big Band is taking their show on the road for their only performance of the year!
For all those who have yet to witness the sickness, London Elektricity’s Big Band is a high octane, electric ensemble driven by heavy doses of brass from a big 22 piece collective, a formidable percussion team, sublime vocalists Leanne Carrol & Emer Dineen, Dynamite MC on hosting & hype duties, and last but certainly by no means least, the main man London Elektricity holding down bass guitar duties with the occasional inter-dimensional shredding of the guitar. All in all, an experience set to stand hairs on end from endless waves of good time euphoria.
But this isn’t the only tantalizing slice of the live edition extravaganza – after blowing away city after city with their extraordinary live tour earlier this year, Fred V & Grafix are once again bringing out all the stops with a rare performance of their live show.
Also footing the bill are two of Hospital’s OG veterans High Contrast and Danny Byrd, weighty B2B sessions from seasoned Hospital soldiers S.P.Y B2B Nu:Tone as well as newer but equally surgical recruits Etherwood B2B Keeno, all peppered with unrivaled charisma from MC’s Lowqui & Tempza. Be sure to join us for what’s set to be a sensational start to the festival season.
The rest of the festival boasts an exceedingly hearty line up consisting of the legendary four time DJ Mag award winner + Grammy Award Nominee Sasha, the infamous eclectic trailblazers Jackmaster and Jasper James, the HacidendaClassical curated by industry titans Graeme Park + Mark Pickering, as well as various family friendly daytime activities including the world famous Big Fish Little Fish kiddie friendly rave, the BBC Introducing stage packed with exciting up and coming artists, and much more that’s all laced with succulent grub and ice cold refreshments to quench that sweltering summer thirst.
